*The Phoenix is a powerful entity. People think they know the Phoenix. But not like me. I've been the Phoenix, I've experienced the chaos of too much power, experienced the pains of loss, and I've experienced the importance of self control. I am Jean Grey and Phoenix always. But right now I need to stay with me right now. Because thats the only way I'm going to get home.*
In the farest reaches of outer space a being known as the Phoenix. Flew around the universe as if it could never tire. Jean Grey controlling its every move. For once in what had seemed in a long time. Flying with the phoenix is always flying at top speed in the universe. And it was only a matter of half seconds until she came to the blue, green, and white planet. She knew as Earth. *My home.* Time stood still and then the Phoenix dived making its way towards Earth.
A firebird appeared in the sky. Above the quiet, dark atmosphere of Westchester, New York. The firebird gave off such radiant light that it looked as if the sun was decided to give extra fire from itself to this entity known as Phoenix. As soon as the firebird came, it went. Leaving Westchester in the quiet, dark atmosphere it was a second before. A woman began falling, not that far. So no damage was done
Jean Grey hit the grassy floor of the forest a little outside of Westchester. She shook off the little pain, her knees were bent and she was looking at her hands. *Am I really back is this really me, my body, my persona.* Jean took off one of her gloves and examined her hand. It was pink and white skin, her skin. Jean took of the other glove. It had the same results as the first. *Oh gosh, I really think I'm back.*
Jean touched her face, after a some more expections. Jean reassured herself that it was her. She stood up little cuts and bruises from her fall. They stung a little. But compared to what she had experienced before it was nothing. *Should I go to the mansion. I mean I should tell Scott and.......* Jean bit her lip. *Scott has Emma now. Were over. Even if I wish we weren't. Move on.*
The stars twinkled above her. *I seen most of those in our galaxy and beyond. I have destroyed some as well.* The stars seemed to tell her it'll be okay and that they would guide her. Jean admired the stars for a second. *Would it be better if I was still among them? No, it wouldn't its my time to right the wrongs I made. And face it I've made plenty.*
The yellow and green phoenix costume. "The good costume". Glinted in the silvery moon rays. It was ripped a little, and torn a little but all in all it was fine. Jean began walking the twelves miles to the mansion.
*I don't want to fly, right now. Although its one of my favorite things. I'm a little tired of it. And its been a while since I've walked. I almost forgot the feeling. My feelings however are still intact. I still want to rip Emma's hair out. I still want to be with Scott, and Logan, I still want to be an X-Man. An X-man is what I am and probably what I always will be. No matter how many times I nearly destroy this planet.*
Jean ran her fingers along the plants and trees. The mansion came into view. She awkardly stepped up and rang the door bell.
*Will they accept me back. Don't they always every time I mess up. Will Scott except me back?"
She waited on the front poarch for minutes. *It has to be past midnight. This isn't good for me to show up so early and really univited.* Someone started walking towards the door. Jean did a quick mind scan to see who it was. *Am I ready for this?* She tensed. The door knobbed twisted. Jean looked straight in to those brown eyes. To her brown eyes. To everyone else rim red shades. Jean opened her mouth and said a little nervously,
" Hey Slim, I'm back."
