Roxxon Energy Complex – Damage Control, Inc
Damage Control, Inc. is a Manhattan-based engineering company specializing in clean-up, repair, and restoration of property damaged through superhuman activity. The publicly-traded company has achieved a near-monopoly of this field, which has proved to be tremendously lucrative for the organization. With a permanent workforce of nearly 300, Damage Control often subcontracts construction, engineering, and other work to other companies. Damage Control’s clientele includes superhumans as well as the New York municipal government, the federal government, and private entities. Individuals and companies often pay for Damage Control’s services through Extraordinary Activity Assurance (EAA) policies, although those not covered by an EAA can apply for funds from the Federal Disaster Area Stipend (FedDAS), which the federal government has made available to residents of New York City. When Damage Control was faced with financial trouble three years ago, President Anne-Marie Hoag was forced to take the company public to raise capital, and businessman/NYSE board member Walter Declun (and his investors) bought a controlling share of the stock before forcing himself onto Damage Control’s Board of Directors and ascending to the position of CEO. Delcun recently purchased Roxxon Energy’s offices in Long Island for 3.5 million to serve as Damage Control’s new corporate headquarters.
