Citrusville

Within Monroe County of Florida, Citrusville is an Everglades town of a largely conservative nature, to the point of running riot in the high school. The high school newspaper is called the Quill. The public library is a small shack, but has a large collection of occult writings in its archives. The town actually vanished into a rift at one point. The original hole was in the shape of a six-fingered hand, which was also the sign and the name of a cult that has plagued the mystical community for some time. The hole was first noted by the Avengers, who wisely called in for supernatural help. A makeshift team of Defenders, including Doctor Strange and Devil-Slayer, would first fight a possessed Man-Thing, then enter into a highly dangerous mystical rift in order to rescue the citizens. Today, Citrusville has since returned to its quiet natured business.
