Scene Pass FAQ
Scene passes are single-use awards for members to admissibly skip a canon scene, of their choice, involving a character they currently preside over. These passes are awarded to members that submit comic book adaptations that are approved for representation within the game.
The guidelines for usage of Scene Passes are as follows.
- There is no limit on how many Scene Passes may be collected per individual member.
- Scene Passes may be used on whichever scene the member decides to skip for whichever character under their possession.
- Once a scene pass is used, it may not be used again.
- Marvel Universe: The Saga of 616 defines a scene as a unit of action or a segment of a story in a comic book. A scene within the game will be represented by a single topic.
- Once a scene pass is administered, the member voids all control over their character within the scene and yields it to the other participating members within the scene. Granted—these other members are still suspect to Rule Two and Rule Four of Marvel Universe: The Saga of 616.
- With a scene pass in affect, the member resumes control over their character with the scene skipped in past tense.
- A scene pass does not nullify the event passed for the character, but occurs to the character “off panel.”
- Scene Passes are only awarded to comic book adaptations that are scenes derived from a major crossover event or comic book adaptations from scenes that do not involve any characters under the member’s possession (allowed under the exception that the scene adapted with their character’s involvement is from a major crossover event.)
