Tommy zipped through the line of Hydra agents, giving each one a good punch in the face and while he probably couldn't knock any of them out so easily at regular speeds, it was child's play at the velocity he was currently going. He was already on to the next guy as those bodies hit the floor. With this much skill and power, he wasn't sure how any of the Young Avengers had thought twice about his membership, shoot, this wasn't even all he could do. A man ran to a fixed gun, but before he even got all that close, Tommy used his second power to just blow it up. With a smirk on his face, he dashed forward, just sticking his arm out to close line the guy, the agent's facial expressions being seen in slow motion.
It was a little frustrating, how slow the world seemed when you could hit Mach 3 without really trying. He could move faster than pretty much anyone else could think, and no matter how many times the rest of the Young Avengers told him to be more careful and not to just run into a fight, Tommy wasn't going to listen. If he tried to live his life their way, he'd go crazy. That being said, it was moments like these that really showed him his way of doing things was right.
He bet if you counted how many each of them had taken down, his number would be the highest. Sure, some of them had pretty good powers and he kept no secret that he liked Hawkeye, but none of them really had anything on him. From what Vision told him, even his so called uncle didn't really have that much on him. Man, it was hard to be the best, but it was a burden Speed was willing to take.
After a few more became victim to an attack they barely got to see, Speed took a look around. A bunch of men in green suits were strewn across the floor and the last one fell from a punch dealt by The Hulkling. He ran over to the others, "Man, you guys really need to pick up the pace, don't want the new guy to be showing you up every time we go on a mission, do you?" he asked with a smirk, the others didn't really seem amused, but that was their problem. They basically wanted an excuse not to trust him completely, so he wasn't going to bend over back wards to make them like him more, he was just going to be who he wanted to be and they could take it or leave it.
"Let's get going, the cops'll be arriving soon," Eli said, getting closer to Billy so they could teleport out of here. Tommy did the same, he figured he could just let his little brother handle transportation this time.
