Proper Etiquette on Choosing Characters

The following guidelines are to be maintained in the character application process.

• Choose only characters of the mainstream Marvel 616 continuity. This means no Ultimate characters. No New Universe. No Ultraverse. No House of M. No Supremeverse. No Earth X. Not even Amalgam.
  
• As stated in Rule Five of this board, audition only for characters you can authentically portray.
  
• Choose a character that you know the best of to your knowledge. Picking a character solely based on their appearances in movies, television, and video games is not authentic to the Marvel 616 universe and is not acceptable. Marvel Universe: The Saga of 616 is based on the comics and therefore will follow them loyally.
  
• Dead Marvel Universe characters are dead. For the purposes of this game some characters may be resurrected while others, due to the impact of their resurrection, will remain deceased. For those that return from death, it is advised that all resurrected characters act with discretion within the Marvel Universe. Canonically, they are deceased. And should their reemergence cause more attention than is allowed, they will remain dead.
  
• The Marvel Universe is a vast and massively populated place of heroes, villains, and everyone else in-between. There is a character for everyone. One must simply look hard enough to find their match.
