A bustling metropolis adorned with wide boulevards and monuments depicting the Emperor at ever turn with the Imperial Palace at its center. But outside the affluent neighborhoods inhabited by Imperial oligarchs, arena and trader districts, slave auction blocks, a multicultural marketplaces, most of Crown City is a labyrinth of shacks and substandard dwellings. Outside the city walls exists a pristine countryside with sloping green hills and dotted with palatial estates where the richest Imperial oligarchs reside when they are not conducting business within the city. Directly to Crown City’s east is the Imperial Canal, an artificial waterway constructed by slave labor so that the Empire would have easy access to the Fillian Sea.
